Iljo Keisse wins in one of the best finishes to a cycling race I’ve seen. Can’t find a better video of the last 2 km of the race but it’s an amazing effort by Keisse. Just wow.
He fell w/ 1 km remaining only 30 seconds ahead of the peloton, got up and back on his bike, realized the chain was off, fixed it and rode JUST hard enough to make the line before a charging Marcel Kittel and Alessandro Petacchi.
The corner he fell on is kind of ridiculous to have in a bike race, especially so close to the finish, many riders couldn’t make the corner when the peloton eventually got there.
